About the Event

Bronx Parks Speak Up returns for its 32nd convening, bringing together community members, advocates, and partners to explore the future of Bronx parks and green spaces. This year’s theme, The Power of Parks: Funding the Future, focuses on investment, access, and community-driven solutions for parks across the Bronx.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in workshops and panels, connect with organizations during tabling and networking sessions, and share input on park planning and environmental initiatives.

Workshops and Panels Include

  • Activating Bronx Parks through the NYC Green Fund

  • Getting from Greenway to Waterfront: Gateways and Bridges of the Harlem Riverfront Greenway Plan

  • The Importance of Community Gardens

  • Lowering the Temperature with Nature: Prioritizing Parks for the Future

  • Meet Our Urban Forest Stewards

  • Pelham Bay Park Access Study: Public Input Workshop

  • Listening with the Harlem River

  • Build Your Own Indoor Worm Condo

Tabling and Networking

Tabling and networking will take place from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM and again during workshop breaks throughout the day.
