Empowering Families, Strengthening Communities

NIDC’s Family Support Network (FSN) is a dedicated resource for parents, guardians, and families, offering in-person and virtual programming to promote healthy habits and stable environments where children and youth can thrive.

Workshops & Education

FSN is designed to support caregivers holistically, recognizing that when parents and guardians have the tools to care for themselves, they are better equipped to support their children.

Our key offerings include:

  • Monthly Workshops & Drop-in Support Hours – Covering essential topics in mental health, parenting, self-care, and family wellness, led by a licensed social worker. Workshops are provided in person and virtually.

  • Community Events & Peer Learning – Creating safe spaces for families to share experiences and learn from one another.

  • Access to Mental & Physical Health Resources – Providing referrals, consultations, and connections to local service providers through the NIDC Health Hub.
