On January 20th, the Family Support Network (FSN) held the 5th in a a year-long virtual workshop series focused on Understanding Neurodiversity–what it is and what it means for children’s development.
Delving Deeper into Neurodiversity through a 10-month Series of Virtual Worshops
The fifth session, Myths vs Realties–Dispelling Common Misconceptions About Neurodiversity gave parents and caregivers more detailed information on a range of neurodivergent diagnosis, including autism, ADHD and dyslexia, as well as giving practical information and resources to successfully move past their child's diagnosis. Participants were encouraged to share their experiences, ask questions and connect with one another.
This was the fifth in the year-long series, which parents and caregivers are welcome to join at any time.
