Teen Mentoring

Support. Guidance. A Space to Grow.

Empowering teens through mentorship to develop leadership skills, confidence, and a path to success.

NIDC’s Teen Mentoring Program, held at the Eastchester Community Center, offers middle school and high school students a safe and encouraging environment to grow into confident, capable young adults.

In partnership with NYC’s Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) and the YMI, this free program pairs young people with caring mentors who serve as role models and guides. Through weekly programming, one-on-one mentoring, and engaging activities, participants explore life skills, goal setting, decision-making, and identity development.

We focus on helping teens build positive relationships, improve communication skills, and develop the confidence to navigate school, family, and peer life with resilience.
