Curran Cross Completes Emerging Leaders in Nonprofit Management Program

NIDC proudly congratulates Curran Cross on completing the Emerging Leaders in Nonprofit Management program, a comprehensive leadership course designed for youth program professionals.

The program, offered through a partnership between the Partnership for After School Education and the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership at the City College of New York, prepares emerging leaders to navigate the evolving landscape of nonprofit work. Through a combination of lectures, discussions, and applied learning, participants build skills in areas such as strategic planning, financial management, fundraising, and program evaluation.

Over the course of the program, participants also collaborated on Strategic Challenge Projects, working in teams to analyze real-world challenges in nonprofit management and develop solutions that strengthen organizational impact.

Curran’s completion of this program reflects a continued commitment to professional growth and leadership development within NIDC’s youth programming. By strengthening leadership capacity, opportunities like this help ensure that the programs serving young people remain thoughtful, responsive, and impactful.

NIDC is proud to support staff development and celebrate milestones that contribute to stronger programs and better outcomes for the communities we serve.
