The Annual Fall Festival with CM Amanda Farías kicks off the season
This year’s Fall Festival in Soundview Park gave a big turnout of Bronx families a day of non-stop food and fun! Kids picked out pumpkins from the GrowNYC pumpkin patch, jumped in bouncy castles, slid down a giant double slide, and navigated a haunted obstacle course. But it didn’t stop there–face-painting and airbrush tattoos added even more festive activities. Plus, yummy fresh apples, peaches, popcorn, mini-doughnuts and snowcones kept the smiles coming all afternoon.
NIDC’s Henry Ocasio and Lauren Rojas joined other local nonprofits, city agencies and elected officials at the festival, providing housing resources and organization information to our fellow community members.
It was a fabulous fall day for a festival, filled with laughter and fun. Thanks to District 18 Council Member Amanda Farías and her staff for a wonderful event!
