Halloween Hit the Bronx and NIDC was there for it!
NIDC welcomed Halloween this year in nonstop fashion. From a Haunted House packed with scary fun to a first-ever Halloween celebration for Crotona tenants, NIDC amped up the festive spirit of the holiday. We even ventured with a trip outer borough to Six Flags for a day of horror and thrills.
Over 500 children and 300 adults showed up to get spooked at the Halloween Haunted House, hosted by Full Element Karate School. White Plains Road local business owners partnered with the Brady Avenue school and NIDC to offer this immensely popular holiday event!
Crotona VI/V was the scene for a first-time Halloween event, complete with treats, toys and games. Residents enjoyed cupcakes and goodie bags plus got a chance to chat with the property manager. Then both adults and children joined in playing rounds of a classic crowd-pleaser - Bingo! The event was such a hit that more games, like Dominos, may be coming soon!
Eastchester Gardens Community Center Six Flags Fright Fest Teen Trip gave a dozen teens a chance to ride lots of rollercoasters, then brave the scary decor and haunted mazes of Fright Fest. “It was fun! I’ve never been to Fright Fest before - it was really great!”
