At PS 483, students gear up their gloves and goggles, diving deep into the world of STEM through engaging, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and creativity. Thanks to the ExpandEd STEM Educators Academy, our young learners in grades 2-5 participate in weekly afterschool lessons led by trained STEM educators.

Bringing Stories to Life: Author Meet & Greet Series
At NIDC, we believe in the power of storytelling to inspire young minds. Our Author Meet & Greet series brings writers into schools, giving students the opportunity to engage with authors, explore new ideas, and see themselves reflected in powerful stories.
