Free puppet show in Bronx park was entertaining for all!
It was a beautiful afternoon on Sept 6th as over 50 children and adults alike gathered to watch the Pippi Longstocking Puppet Show at Bronx Park Oscar Comrass Mall.

NIDC supports Bronx 49th Precinct and National Night out against crime
The 49th Precinct, Precinct Community Council and NIDC celebrated a successful National Night Out Against Crime at Loreto Park in the Morris Park Community, bringing together the Police and the Community to encourage better communication and support.

Celebrating NIDC Participation in “The People’s Money” with CEC NYC (Civic Engagement Commission NYC)
NIDC joined Dr. Sarah Sayeed, Chair and Executive Director of the Civic Engagement Commission (and a Bronx resident!) and the NYC CEC team as she congratulated Citywide Participatory Budget partners for all their efforts in civically engaging their communities.

Paws, Pose and Slay the Runway: A Tail-Wagging Celebration of Style and Civic Pride
On a sunny Saturday afternoon, Walter Gladwin Park transformed into a vibrant runway of paws and personality for “Paws, Pose and Slay the Runway,” a doggie fashion show hosted by NIDC’s Economic Development department in partnership with Dogs of Mott Haven.

East Tremont Avenue came alive with rhythm, flavor, and community spirit during La Calle Es Tuya, a two-part street activation event hosted by NIDC.
