For residents of Eastchester Gardens, the annual Thanksgiving Share: Community Potluck marks the beginning of the holiday season!

Nearly 150 adults and children celebrated an early Thanksgiving with donated foods prepared by community members and other community partners.

“It was a great turnout! Always a pleasure to volunteer!” said one attendee. “I look forward to this event every year–I like how you bring the community together,” added another happy participant.

Eastchester Gardens Community Center hosted the event on November 22nd along with the following partners: the 49th precinct, Catholic Charities, AGS, MetroPlus, the Mayor’s Office of Engagement, Youth Justice, and Live Over Violence Everyday (L.O.V.E.)
