PS 103 & FSN Virtual Workshop: Understanding Neurodiversity–An Introduction for Parents & Caregivers

NIDC’s Family Support Network (FSN) held a virtual workshop on Dec 17th for the PS 103 community and Virtual Parent Support Group, providing an initial overview of the basics of neurodiversity as well as what resources are available to support families and children.

Joined by PS 103’s School Social Worker and Guidance Counselor, the session also included a group coaching activity and a helpful discussion among participants.

For a more detailed dive into the varied aspects of autism, ADHD, dyslexia and more, all participants were encouraged to join FSN’s year-long virtual workshop series Understanding Neurodiversity. This series focuses on neurodiversity and your child–what it is and what it means for a child’s development.

The Understanding Neurodiversity series continues through 2026–and you can view any past virtual workshops on YouTube–anytime, anywhere!
