PS/MS 89 and NIDC Thanksgiving Community Fair

Why wait until Thursday when you can start the celebrations on Monday? PS/MS 89 got into the holiday spirit early at their Thanksgiving Community Fair after the school day ended on Nov 24th.

Students and their parents were thankful for hot cocoa, hot food, fun crafts, tasty treats, clothing and toy giveaways and lots of free books! There were even raffles for 80 free turkeys–and a few Radio City Christmas Spectacular tickets, too!

Thank you to Essen Healthcare and Starbucks–and an extra thanks to Stand Up To Violence (Jacobi SUV) for joining NIDC to sponsor the turkey raffle.
