TRIE Coalition

Belmont & East Tremont TRIE Coalition

Since 2021, NIDC has led the Belmont & East Tremont TRIE Coalition, a group of local businesses, healthcare providers, and cultural organizations working together to improve quality of life for everyone in the neighborhood.

All members of this group are a part of the TRIE (Taskforce on Racial Inclusion & Equity). The Coalition works with NIDC to lead projects like The People’s Money and Bronx Emergency Preparedness. 

Coalition members provide: 

  • Workshops, resources, and support for residents and small businesses. 

  • Connections to healthcare, educational, and financial services. 

  • Advocacy for community needs in city-wide initiatives.
