Connecting Residents to Resources at the Spring Housing Resource Fair
Access to reliable housing information was front and center at the Spring Housing Resource Fair, held on April 9, 2026, at the Community Board 12 building.
Hosted in partnership with Council Member Kevin Riley’s Office, the event brought together city agencies and nonprofit organizations to connect residents with resources and support services related to housing and community needs.
Throughout the evening, attendees had the opportunity to visit resource tables, speak directly with representatives, and learn about programs designed to support housing stability. Presentations offered additional guidance, including a housing-focused session led by NIDC’s Henry Ocasio, helping residents better understand available services and next steps.
Events like the Spring Housing Resource Fair play an important role in making information accessible and ensuring that residents know where to turn for support. By bringing resources directly into the community, NIDC continues to strengthen connections and expand access to services across the Bronx.
