NIDC Youth Programs Bring Magic and Fun to PS/MS 89
NIDC’s Youth Programs brought an afternoon of laughter, excitement, and community connection to students at PS/MS 89 with a special Magic Show on July 31.
The event welcomed 120 students for an afternoon designed to encourage social interaction, positive peer connections, and plenty of fun. Students enjoyed an exciting magic show filled with tricks and surprises, cheering and reacting enthusiastically throughout the performance.
The entertainment continued with special activities that gave students even more opportunities to enjoy the afternoon together. A balloon twister created colorful balloon creations for the students, quickly becoming one of the biggest hits of the event. Students proudly showed off their creations to their friends, adding to the excitement and creating moments of connection among their peers.
Freshly made cotton candy and popcorn rounded out the experience, giving students a chance to enjoy some classic treats while spending time with one another.
More than just an afternoon of entertainment, the Magic Show provided students with a welcoming space to laugh, interact, and build positive memories together. Their excitement and engagement throughout the event reflected the impact of creating opportunities where young people can simply have fun, connect with their peers, and enjoy being part of their community.
NIDC is proud to continue creating meaningful experiences for youth that bring together entertainment, connection, and community building.
