The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)
A federal program administered by the USDA. Eligible individuals can apply online to receive a month’s worth of free food through local food banks or pantries. This program does not compete with SNAP—once SNAP benefits are restored, TEFAP assistance can continue
