Community Health Fair with Einstein Service-Learning Students at PS/MS 89
Einstein College of Medicine’s dermatology student group partnered with NIDC Youth Programs to present the “Good Skin Knowledge” initiative at PS/MS 89. Designed for 5th–8th graders, the two-day program featured four interactive modules covering sun safety, acne, and skin reactions to bugs and plants.

Back to school fairs get Bronx Children ready for another school year
As summer ended, NIDC hosted a series of lively Back to School events across the Bronx, bringing together families, community partners, and local organizations to support students as they prepared for the new school year. The days were filled with fun, food, games, giveaways and more!

It was a beautiful afternoon on Sept 6th as over 50 children and adults alike gathered to watch the Pippi Longstocking Puppet Show at Bronx Park Oscar Comrass Mall.

The Family Support Network (FSN) brought together families from PS 77, PS 94, and PS 56 for a vital workshop on children’s technology use and digital safety, aimed at empowering caregivers with tools and knowledge to navigate the digital world alongside their children.
